It’s a bit pricey for what it is & painfully slow USPS shipping was more than the part itself.
Either way, it’s needed to protect costly barrel threads.
I’m using it to protect the barrel threads when I use my suppressor.
I Rocksett the protector to the barrel.
My suppressor uses the Rugged RU3 3-lug mount that has an ID of .592″ for it’s muzzle end.
This 1/2×28 MP5 Series Thread Protector has the dimensions of .630 Long x .587 Diameter.
It helps with 3-lug suppressor alignment, works great & should last a lifetime.
