If you have an MP5 or variant which does not have a rail over the receiver (most don’t) but you want to expand the platform with optics or other attachments, then you need a picatinny rail or adapter. This picatinny assembly/adapter is the perfect way to get your MP5 ready for accessories.

    Got this to replace the Midwest industries claw optic mount, which would not fit. This one fits, was easy to install as far as claw mounts go, it actually holds zero well, even with a fair bit of abuse. My only critique is I wish it were a pic length shorter, as I’ve noticed if I’m not careful with the charging handle, I’m prone to catching my hand on a sharp corner of the mount. Not the end of the world, but definitely a bit of an annoyance when I’m going for a quick reload or lockback. Other than that, materials are fine, and it feels solid. Fairly priced as well

    Great fit and good zero. Screws are soft, be careful. And as stated in another post, don’t over “squeeze”. Check that the bolt cycles freely!!

    Was afraid the other brands would not fit my Zenith so I got this one. That was the main reason I recommend this one (guaranteed fitment). I also really liked the Zenith install video. I over torqued one screw but I had spares from amazon.com. Material is aluminum (although I wish they said what grade aluminum). I would recommend and have no complaints. It’s priced appropriately and they go on sale sometimes (I got mine on sale).
